Welcome to this wonderful journey! You are embarking on a challenge and rewarding experience. Planning and coaching learning opportunities for your child can be a challenge, but it is completely worth it.
I am always honored to partner with families by guiding through the state requirements. I can offer you consultations to guide in the selection of a curriculum, monitor the learning progress and complete your final evaluation. I have developed a guide so that you won't miss any of the steps in the process.

Ways We Partner with You

Annual Evaluation:
○ In-Person at my Tutoring Studio, or at a convenient location OR ○ Virtual meeting over Zoom: Electronically share your portfolio before our scheduled meeting. ○ Mid-Year Check-up in December/January and Final Evaluation in April/May/June |
Yearly Homeschool Objectives:
○ Support writing objectives for the designated school year with reflection of desired grade level, content areas, state required subjects, and any specific needs highlighted from previous year-end (if applicable). Note: Objectives are not lesson plans or specific to a curriculum; Objectives are general goals for the homeschool education for the year. |

Mandatory Testing at Grades 3,5, and 8:
○ Academic Excellence testing site ○ I can administer the standardized testing needed. CAT, IOWA tests are available. Note: Parents may order/pay for the tests and I can administer, OR I will order and administer. Additional cost will depend on the test and parent preference on ordering. |
Homeschool Curriculum Consultation:
○ One support session in determining the best curriculum for your child. ○ Help in designing units that can thematically connect many content areas ○ Help in utilizing a curriculum to its maximum ○ Help in designing field trips to meet objectives |
Progress Learning Evaluation and Consultation
○ The goal of this consultation is to give the Homeschool Supervisor tools to see their child’s growth, be able to track it, and determine the areas that need more growth.Giving tools such as developmental continuums with clear indicators and on-going progress apps to utilize throughout the academic year, the Homeschool Supervisor will leave the consultation with a plan and the “how-to” in order to meet their goals and objectives for their child.
○ I will meet with you and the student to determine what benchmark skills are evident
(such as: reading fluency, reading comprehension skills, writing, math
comprehension and problem solving). We will have a strategizing conversation to
help guide through any areas that are not fully developed or enrichment areas
that can be explored.. Homeschool supervisors will be able to identify indicators on
a developmental continuum and track progress throughout the academic year.
○ Developmental Continuum for Reading, Writing, and Math. Benchmark tasks given
will show indicators on the continuums. Continuing to analyze tasks at benchmark
times will show levels of progress and growth.
